Its Story:
"Located in the heart of Perpignan, the Église des Dominicains is a striking example of Southern Gothic architecture. Founded in 1245, it originally served as a monastery for the Dominican order and later became a military site, which ironically helped preserve it. With its single nave, wooden ceiling, and remaining cloister wing, the church offers a unique historical atmosphere. Today, it hosts cultural events and exhibitions, including the renowned photojournalism festival Visa pour l’Image."
