After wowing more than one million spectators, LUMINISCENCE continues its tour and takes over Cathédrale Sainte-Croix d'Orléans.

With its spire soaring over 100 metres high and its monumental proportions, Sainte-Croix is one of the most impressive Gothic cathedrals in France. Deeply tied to the epic story of Jeanne d'Arc, it has traversed the centuries between grandeur, renaissance and legend.

Carried by immersive narration, live music and 360° video mapping, the show transforms the monument into a living stage where light, history and architecture become one.

Towering over the historic heart of Orléans with its spire soaring more than 100 metres high, Cathédrale Sainte-Croix is one of the most impressive Gothic structures in France. Rebuilt over several centuries following the destruction of the Wars of Religion, it embodies the turbulent history and resilience of an entire city.

Deeply tied to the epic story of Jeanne d'Arc, who came to attend a mass here after the liberation of Orléans in 1429, the cathedral has traversed the centuries between legend, renaissance and architectural grandeur.

Its majestic vaults, spectacular volumes and the breathtaking verticality of its architecture immerse visitors in a timeless atmosphere, where monumental power meets collective emotion.

About the experience

What does the experience consist of? Combining 360-degree video mapping and music, LUMINISCENCE takes you on an immersive journey into the history of Orléans’ Basilica. Music resonates in the sacred space, while its walls light up and come to life. The projections enhance the Basilica's architectural qualities. Through this breathtaking visual and musical spectacle, the Basilica's secrets are revealed, highlighting the architectural prowess of its builders, its spellbinding light effects and its extraordinary acoustics.
How long does it last? The experience lasts about 45 minutes. It consists of an immersive journey through the basilica’s ambulatory, followed by a seated show in the nave.
Where will it take place? The experience takes place inside Sainte-Croix Cathedral, Place Sainte-Croix, 45000 Orléans.
When should you arrive on site? It is recommended to arrive at the time indicated on your ticket so you can enjoy the light-filled walkthrough in the ambulatory before taking your seat in the nave for the show.
Is there a minimum age requirement to participate in the experience? The experience is open to everyone. Children under 2 years old may sit on an adult’s lap; beyond that age, children must have their own ticket.
In what language is the show presented? The narration is in French. However, thanks to the immersive visual mapping and live music, the show can be fully enjoyed even by non-French speakers.
Is it hot in the basilica? In the summer season, the basilica can retain heat, especially during high outdoor temperatures. We recommend bringing a fan and staying hydrated before your visit

Can I get to the experience by public transport? The cathedral is served by public transport.
  • Bus: 4, 6, 11, 40 - "St Remi" Stop
  • Train: Orléans train station
Is the venue accessible for people with reduced mobility? Yes, the basilica is accessible to people with reduced mobility. If you are using a wheelchair, our team will assist by adjusting the seating so you can easily position your wheelchair.

Will it be possible to buy a ticket on site? Depending on availability for each session, a limited number of tickets may be available for purchase on site.
Where can I buy tickets? Tickets will be available online on Fever and through the Fever application.
Is it possible to request a refund?

This experience allows you to change the date and/or time up to 7 hours before the start of the event. You can access this option by viewing your ticket in the “Tickets” section of the Fever app, where the “Change date and/or time” button will appear.

Tickets are unfortunately non-refundable, except in cases of force majeure, up to 72 hours before the start of the event. For any requests, please contact Fever customer service.
Are tickets valid for other event dates?

This experience allows you to change the date and/or time up to 7 hours before the start of the event. You can access this option by viewing your ticket in the “Tickets” section of the Fever app, where the “Change date and/or time” button will appear.

If you encounter any issues, please contact Fever customer service.
Do I need to print my ticket? It is not necessary to print your ticket. You can show your confirmation email at the entrance so staff can scan the code.
I can’t find my ticket. What should I do?

You will receive your ticket by email after purchase. It will also be available for download in the “Tickets” section of the Fever mobile app.

If you haven’t installed it yet, you can download it from the Apple Store or Google Play. Make sure to log in using the same account you used when purchasing your tickets.

If you still cannot locate your ticket, please contact us.
Can I attend an event on a date not listed on the calendar?

The dates shown on the calendar are the only ones currently available for purchase. Additional dates may be added later; once they are, they will appear on the calendar.

If no dates are available but the event has a waiting list, you can sign up to be notified when new dates are released.
How can I get an invoice? Please submit your request via the contact form. Invoices will be available once the event date has passed.
How can I use a coupon?

Currently, coupons can only be used via the Fever app (available on Android and iOS). Follow the steps below:

To use a coupon during your purchase:

  1. Open the Fever app and log in using your usual method (email, Facebook, Gmail, or Apple ID).

  2. Go to the experience you want, choose the date and time, select the number of tickets, then click “Buy.”

  3. Select “Apply coupon.” A list of your coupons will appear.

  4. Choose the coupon you want to use (one coupon per purchase), then click “Apply coupon.” The discount will be applied to your total.

    • If a coupon appears as “unavailable,” it means the experience does not accept that coupon.
    • If you have a discount code, click “Add coupon” and enter it.

  5. Click “Buy” — your new ticket(s) will appear in the “Tickets” section of the app.
