After wowing nearly 2 million spectators at some of the world’s most beautiful cathedrals, LUMINISCENCE continues its tour and takes over the Sainte-Croix Cathedral in Orléans.

A confidante of Joan of Arc and a jewel of the kings of France, it has watched over the city for sixteen centuries. Through storytelling, 360° video mapping, and live music, the cathedral comes to life to recount the epic history of Orléans as you’ve never experienced it before.

Towering over the historic heart of Orléans with its spire soaring more than 100 metres high, Cathédrale Sainte-Croix is one of the most impressive Gothic structures in France. Rebuilt over several centuries following the destruction of the Wars of Religion, it embodies the turbulent history and resilience of an entire city.

Deeply tied to the epic story of Jeanne d'Arc, who came to attend a mass here after the liberation of Orléans in 1429, the cathedral has traversed the centuries between legend, renaissance and architectural grandeur.

Its majestic vaults, spectacular volumes and the breathtaking verticality of its architecture immerse visitors in a timeless atmosphere, where monumental power meets collective emotion.

About the experience

What does the experience consist of? Combining 360-degree video mapping and music, LUMINISCENCE takes you on an immersive journey into the history of Orléans’ Cathedral. Music resonates in the sacred space, while its walls light up and come to life. The projections enhance the Cathedral's architectural qualities. Through this breathtaking visual and musical spectacle, the Cathedral's secrets are revealed, highlighting the architectural prowess of its builders, its spellbinding light effects and its extraordinary acoustics.
Is the show suitable for people with epilepsy? The show includes light effects and changes in light intensity that may not be suitable for people with epilepsy or sensitivity to light. If in doubt, we recommend consulting your doctor before booking.
How long does it last? The experience lasts about 45 minutes. It consists of an immersive journey through the Cathedral’s ambulatory, followed by a seated show in the nave.
Where will it take place? The experience takes place inside Sainte-Croix Cathedral, Place Sainte-Croix, 45000 Orléans.
When should you arrive on site? We recommend arriving 10 minutes before the time indicated on your ticket so you can enjoy the light-filled walkthrough in the ambulatory before taking your seat in the nave for the show. As seating is unassigned, we cannot guarantee that you will be seated together with your group. We therefore recommend arriving early to make the most of the experience together.
Is there a minimum age requirement to participate in the experience? The experience is open to everyone. Children aged 2 and under may sit on an adult’s lap; beyond that age, children must have their own ticket.
In what language is the show presented? The narration is in French. However, thanks to the immersive visual mapping and live music, the show can be fully enjoyed even by non-French speakers.
Will additional sessions be added? Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that additional dates will be added. Please check the event page for updates on availability and confirmed dates and times.
Is seating available? Yes. Once the walkthrough is over, you will be invited to take a seat in the nave to enjoy the show.
Can I take photos or videos during the experience? Yes, you can take photos and videos as long as your flash is turned off. However, cameras and cameras with telephoto lenses are not permitted.
Will food and drinks be available for purchase on site? No.
Will there be toilets available on site? No, there will be no accessible toilets on site.
Is there a cloakroom on site? No, there is no cloakroom available to the public. We recommend keeping your outerwear with you.
Can I bring my dog? Except for guide dogs, animals are not allowed.

Access to the event

Can I get to the experience by public transport? Yes, the cathedral is accessible by public transport:
  • Tram: Line B (Cathédrale stop) or Line A (De Gaulle stop)
  • Bus: Line 20 (Cathédrale stop)
Is the venue accessible for people with reduced mobility? Yes, the Cathedral is accessible to people with reduced mobility. If you are using a wheelchair, our team will assist by adjusting the seating so you can easily position your wheelchair.
Can I leave and re-enter the event? No. Once you leave the venue, re-entry is not permitted.

Will it be possible to buy a ticket on site? Depending on availability for each session, a limited number of tickets may be available for purchase on site.
Where can I buy tickets? Tickets will be available online on Fever and through the Fever application.
Is it possible to request a refund?

This experience allows you to change the date and/or time up to 7 hours before the start of the event. You can access this option by viewing your ticket in the “Tickets” section of the Fever app, where the “Change date and/or time” button will appear.

Tickets are unfortunately non-refundable, except in cases of force majeure, up to 72 hours before the start of the event. For any requests, please contact Fever customer service.
Are tickets valid for other event dates?

This experience allows you to change the date and/or time up to 7 hours before the start of the event. You can access this option by viewing your ticket in the “Tickets” section of the Fever app, where the “Change date and/or time” button will appear.

If you encounter any issues, please contact Fever customer service.
Do I need to print my ticket? It is not necessary to print your ticket. You can show your confirmation email at the entrance so staff can scan the code.
I can’t find my ticket. What should I do?

You will receive your ticket by email after purchase. It will also be available for download in the “Tickets” section of the Fever mobile app.

If you haven’t installed it yet, you can download it from the Apple Store or Google Play. Make sure to log in using the same account you used when purchasing your tickets.

If you still cannot locate your ticket, please contact us.
Can I attend an event on a date not listed on the calendar? The dates shown on the calendar are the only ones currently available for purchase. Additional dates may be added later; once they are, they will appear on the calendar.
How can I get an invoice? Please submit your request via the contact form. Invoices will be available once the event date has passed.
How can I use a coupon?

Currently, coupons can only be used via the Fever app (available on Android and iOS). Follow the steps below:

To use a coupon during your purchase:

  1. Open the Fever app and log in using your usual method (email, Facebook, Gmail, or Apple ID).

  2. Go to the experience you want, choose the date and time, select the number of tickets, then click “Buy.”

  3. Select “Apply coupon.” A list of your coupons will appear.

  4. Choose the coupon you want to use (one coupon per purchase), then click “Apply coupon.” The discount will be applied to your total.

    • If a coupon appears as “unavailable,” it means the experience does not accept that coupon.
    • If you have a discount code, click “Add coupon” and enter it.

  5. Click “Buy” — your new ticket(s) will appear in the “Tickets” section of the app.

  • VIP coupons can be used on all Fever experiences.
