The Basilica of Santa Maria del Pi is a Catalan Gothic church in the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona. Completed around 1453, the church is renowned for its massive rose window—one of the largest in the world—its single wide nave without side aisles, and its soaring octagonal bell tower, which rises 54 meters above the city.
Today, Santa Maria del Pi is listed as a Bien de Interés Cultural and welcomes countless visitors each year as one of the finest examples of Catalan Gothic architecture and a lasting symbol of the Ciutat’s heritage.
